Varying your pace can help you emphasize key points. We recommend slowing down for crucial points and speeding up a bit for the rest.

Because social media content usually demands a faster pace to keep the viewer engaged, we recommend speaking at a range of 150-200+ wpm. Since this is a higher speed, clarity and enunciation are essential. Of course, speaking speed is also dependent on the type of content you're putting out.
Hosting and podcasting.
If you're a TV host, reporter, or podcaster, you should speak at a range of 140-170 wpm. These speaking formats require a balance of clarity and efficiency.
