GM at Zenu

The star of the conference.

Declan didn't wear glasses, until he discovered Even G1. He was on the hunt for discreet smart glasses—sleek and minimal, but equipped with cutting-edge functionality. Upon unboxing, he knew he'd found what he was looking for.

As the GM of Zenu, an Australian PropTech company, Declan now wears Even G1 to seamlessly navigate work scenarios. Powerful yet subtle features, like Teleprompt, assist him in rehearsing and delivering smoother speeches. As it turns out, Even G1 has proven to be the ultimate ice breaker at conferences, with attendees intrigued by their minimal design and useful capabilities.

While still not a glasses-wearer, Declan is now a proud Even G1-wearer. Light and comfortable, he turns to the everyday smart glasses for hands-free information, notifications, and connectivity.

What initially drew you to Even Realities and the concept of smart glasses?

I was searching for smart glasses that felt discreet, something sleek and minimal, without the bulky, tech-heavy look. Even G1 really stood out for offering just that. When I unboxed them, I was impressed. The packaging felt premium and thoughtfully designed, which gave a great first impression. Honestly, I had a small fear they might be a gimmick until I opened the box and saw that the glasses looked exactly like they did online. Very impressed.

How did Even G1 elevate your conference experience? Did it aid in information retention, networking, or overall engagement?

Absolutely, it became a great conversation starter. Most people hadn't seen smart glasses in such a refined form factor before. That curiosity sparked a lot of genuine conversations, and I ended up recommending them to several attendees. While I didn't use them for notes or prompts in this case, they still enhanced my presence and engagement simply by being something new and intriguing.

In what ways has it changed how you approach and deliver public speeches?

Even G1 has completely changed how I rehearse. Being able to practice with live prompts lets me fine-tune the pacing and flow of a speech. It's like having a smart, discreet teleprompter right in your line of sight—giving you the confidence to stay on track without appearing scripted.

How would you describe the design and comfort? On average, how many hours per day do you wear Even G1?

They're incredibly light and comfortable—surprisingly so. You genuinely wouldn't guess they're smart glasses. I've never worn regular glasses before, so that was the only adjustment for me. Now I wear them a few hours a day, depending on what I'm doing. They definitely feel stylish enough for everyday wear.

What key advice would you offer others considering an investment in wearable technology?

If you already wear glasses daily, upgrading to something like Even G1 is a no-brainer. It's a small investment for what is genuinely cutting-edge functionality. And even if you don't wear glasses, the value you get from hands-free information, cues, and connectivity is very compelling.

Considering the evolving landscape of digital interaction, how do you see Even G1 potentially shaping the future of collaboration and communication in your professional field?

My company, Zenu, operates in the Proptech space, helping real estate agents with websites and CRM solutions. I can easily see smart glasses like Even G1 becoming part of a real estate agent's toolkit—being used during property inspections, auctions, or meetings. Imagine being able to record notes, access buyer profiles, or log CRM entries in real time, all while staying hands-free and focused. There's huge potential for seamless integration into the daily workflow.
